With all these awesome rule changes I figure I will propose one to fix something that probably only annoys me.
Can we get rid of the need to send roster moves (trades, claims, RFA II's etc) to the Staff before it gets posted. The same rules would still apply in terms of confirming the trade and Staff reviews and I don't think it would drastically alter the functioning of the league. I just feel it is an unnecessary step.

I would have to agree as well.

And I've realized something: regular members cannot comment in the "processed trades" forum, only staff can.
I find it... bizarre

Half the claims that get sent to me or RFA II signings are invalid.
A lot of GMs still aren't up to speed with the rules for whatever reason. Screening adds/signings/trades before posting helps sift out any invalid stuff.
@tampa, you're a pretty superstitious guy, aren't you?

would it really be all that different if it went up in the Proposed Transaction section and it got flagged there?

Could you tweak it by allowing trades to be posted, but requiring prospect / RFA claims to be verified via PM?
Trades need to be confirmed by the two GMs after they're sent in anyway, so PMing a staff member seems a bit unnecessary. Would probably save staff a lot of busy work.

Well there's usually always a staff member on since none of us have any lives or girlfriends so I don't see where the issues lay.
However, I can see a GM just eager to get their transactions posted. I'm not against it or anything, I just thought the convenience of screening it before it was posted was good in order to not post any false material.

Yeah wolf was a lonely guy. At least until DEWOLF OR ANDRIC happened!
It is solely for checking purposes to save an issue later. Say a team did a deal or pickup and it wasnt valid. Then said player is flipped elsewhere can cause unnecessary issues. That said we have an excellent group here so maybe trades could be considered we will discuss in the offseason but rfaII and prospects should go thru staff.
There usually isnt much delay there really is usually one of us kicking around
