I'm sure the trade deadline wasn't originally supposed to be this long, but can we keep the extended window and earlier temporary cap increase in future seasons?
I like it a lot, it gives you plenty of time to negotiate deals with GMs and you don't have to worry about responding to a flurry of PMs and trying to get deals done in a few days. At the same time, it still feels like enough of a deadline to actually motivate you to get deals done.
I think it's worked really well this year judging by how many trades have happened over the last few weeks, certainly seems like more compared to past seasons. Can we keep it?

I would say yes, I'm sure we'll discuss it in the off-season or next year

I put up a trade deadline counter every year, bro. It's tradition. I'm gonna whip up a little somethin' somethin' for the playoffs too.
I do agree though, and the trade deadline counters' purpose is in fact to light a fire under the butts of GMs.
