Hockey History: Highest level played on ice is D3 for Nichols College. Created College Roller Hockey at University of Rhode Island and the NECRHA which was a whole new division of its own in New England that played under the college roller hockey umbrella in 1999 later to be fully absorbed by CRHL and win the national college championship. Captained my regular roller team I created to a 5th in the country ranking at the United States roller hockey national championship in Vegas back in 2000. (The Rhode Island Red Army). I since only play ice and have run the Fire Dept team for the last 13yrs and run my own regular team in the A-league The Peter Northstars (3titles)

Hockey history: taught to skate at 18 months old. Played league hockey since I could at age 5. Played for a traveling team that played triple A level hockey without having to tryout for a triple A team lol. In 1999 I played for the Canadian friendship team that I was assistant captain for that went to New Zealand and Australia. where we won first place and I won most sportsman like player for Canada. Fast forward a few years and I meet some guys playing floor hockey on Sundays for the company I worked for who introduced me to superleagues ball hockey and played well enough to get an invite to play in a beer ice hockey league with same guys and team.

So you're a fan of every other sports team that is closest in proximity to you, so why in the NHL are you a Sabres fan? Just generally curious.

Hockey history: Played street hockey and pond hockey whenever possible. Started watching as a 5 year old child with my dad. The first game I ever watched, the Canucks beat the Flames 11-0 in 1992. I've spent the rest of my life loving the Canucks and hating the Flames, with plenty of reasons to support both of these feelings ever since. (TODAY IS NOT A GOOD DAY.) Anyways, I've followed hockey closely from the fan perspective and also have written about it for local newspapers in my hometown and for some small fantasy hockey resources online.

Hockey History: Started skating when I was 2 and started paying organized hockey at 4. Was never a great player. Played house league level hockey most of my life and 2 years playing for my high school team. Currently play beer league/pick up/intramural hockey whenever I can find time. Also an avid ball hockey player. Played net whenever my friends and I played and developed into a fairly competent netminder. Unfortunately haven't played on or off the ice since I hurt my knee a couple months ago. Looking forward to getting back to ice and ball hockey fairly soon.

Family: Lone Wolf. I currently watch over my little brother, but I feel like he's the only family I have at this point. I was in a relationship and engaged for 3 years, but that fell apart. Been discouraged ever since.

Alcohol choice: Okanagan Ciders, MGD, Stella, Newcastle. I don't like hard liquor though, usually avoid it.

Fav bands: Panic! at The Disco, Blink 182, Chvrches, Japandroids, Death Cab, Brand New.. lots of punk/rock bands.

Fav NHL team: I bleed orange. I am a die hard Flyers fan since I can remember. My 2nd team is Calgary. And I really like the Panthers and Wild as well... so 1) Flyers 2) Flames 3) Panthers 4) Wild

Height/Weight: 6'1 185lbs

Position and # in hockey: I am C/RW primarily. My number is #72. Late in my last year in minors, I transitioned to defense for a bit and actually quite enjoyed it.

Hockey history: Laced up skates for the first time when I was 8. I refused to go out on the ice as I never skated before. I was bawling and crying, but my dad picked me up and placed me on the ice. I was so scared because the rest of the team was waiting for me at center ice and I was really embarrassed. But my dad gave me a push towards center ice and I basically skated like a wet fish towards center ice. I never looked back since. I ended up winning 'most improved player' award in my initiation year, then the following years in novice, atom, bantam I won the 'most improved player award' again. I made the Bantam AAA team, and then the Midget AAA team the next year. I've won various regional championships. I remember in our gold medal game, I was the only one to score in the whole game and we won 1-0. Later that year I got creamed against the boards by this big useless goon on the other team and fractured both my arms ending my season. That, mixed with life at home.. my dad fell deathly ill, and my mom started deteriorating herself, I was forced to drop out of high school and hockey to be there for family. I play pick up hockey as much as I can at the moment, but will be joining a league next winter again.

When I was young in 1997 I really started watching hockey on TV. Didn't have a fave team then. Started watching buffalo, I liked their jerseys back then and the showmanship  of Hasek is what really drew me to the sabres franchise and I've been a fan ever since.

Hockey History: Only rec hockey for me. Won 4 championships at Big League Dreams. Scored 11 goals in 1 game. Finished first in points with 37 goals, 23 assists in 10 games. Won 2 Championships at Indoor Goals in Portland. Won 7 Iron Man Tournaments at the Trapper Creek Montana tournaments. Won scoring title and finished second in only ice hockey league experience I had. No titles there though :/
