Venting in shoutbox didn't make me feel better so I'm gonna say it again here. FUCK THE GOD DAMN MOTHER FUCKING EDMONTON OILERS!!! Literally any other team could have won the lottery and I would have been ok with it. I mean I still would have been disappointed the Leafs didn't win, but I would have been ok. But no, this dysfunctional joke of a franchise wins the lottery AGAIN! They should stuff all the ping pong balls back into the box and re-pick

I didn't expect the Flyers to win, so I was totally content remaining at 7th overall... but the one team in the top 6 who I didn't want to win... of course wins.

I hate that Edmonton won it. I don't think they deserve another top pick after continuously failing despite the good fortune they have had with getting top picks, however....
This should make for an interesting off-season for the Oilers. They obviously won't move the pick, but they can't also keep all of Hall, RNH, Eberle, Yakupov, McDavid and Draisaitl (that's 6 forwards, only one of which will have been drafted later then 3rd overall). Something's got to give to help the team out in an area of weakness.
