Venting in shoutbox didn't make me feel better so I'm gonna say it again here. FUCK THE GOD DAMN MOTHER FUCKING EDMONTON OILERS!!! Literally any other team could have won the lottery and I would have been ok with it. I mean I still would have been disappointed the Leafs didn't win, but I would have been ok. But no, this dysfunctional joke of a franchise wins the lottery AGAIN! They should stuff all the ping pong balls back into the box and re-pick couldn´t agree more! something has to be done with the lottery system. i would have rather seen an ahl team pick him up than the fucking oilers! |

Seems like hating the Oilers is not a recent thing... The Oilers have generally been pitied and mocked, not hated. This is certainly a new level of dislike for the franchise. I just find it funny how the draft lottery was changed to prevent teams from tanking and when it worked as hoped (the two teams who tanked missed out) people still want it changed. You can't please people. |

The Oilers have generally been pitied and mocked, not hated. This is certainly a new level of dislike for the franchise. I just find it funny how the draft lottery was changed to prevent teams from tanking and when it worked as hoped (the two teams who tanked missed out) people still want it changed. You can't please people. People are not angry that Buffalo and Arizona lost the lottery. They would have been fine if, say, Carolina had won. They are angry that the most inept franchise of the last decade lands the greatest prospect of the last decade. They are angry that a franchise that has already had such good fortune at the draft lottery and done fuck all with it, continues to get lucky. |
