I've switched the sim over into the off-season mode. So all contracts have now been deducted by a year. Anyone unsigned will now be showing a red 0 next to their names. I've processed most of the prospect adds and signings that took place over the playoffs.
When looking over rosters make sure it's the regular season files you're looking at and not the playoff files that are still up on the left side bar.
The Entry Draft will take place on July 3rd. Please see the Draft Podium board for more details. Trading is officially now open.
And remember, the salary cap is now 69 million and the salary floor is now 51 million.

Also, the new ratings have now been applied and will show on the website in about 5 minutes.

There is a few players that didn't update properly because names are spelled differently, for example Alexander Ovechkin didn't get updated because his name is spelled Alex Ovechkin in the new rates files, so I will sift through these mistakes and fix accordingly.

Dont wanna bitch but im going to. Ryan Miller was not the worst starter in the NHL last year. If ratings are entirely based on last year then Lundquist isnt an 88 and top 5 in the league, just sayin.

If ratings are entirely based on last year then Lundquist isnt an 88 and top 5 in the league, just sayin. 32nd in sv% overall in the league and injured for a third of the season. And I'm a canuck fan, I hated that signing then i hate it now, he's fucking awful, and Lack who's cheaper younger and better will be traded ahead of him. fuck me sideways |

I made the ratings and Miller is the 23rd highest overall goalie and Lundqvist is in a 4 way tie for the 4th highest goalie making him in the top 7. However, Wolf never reset the morale for everyone so the overall rating of a player is being impacted by their morale level right now. Also keep in mind that overall isn't always the best way to go when judging players. You obviously would put more weight into a players passing scoring and defense rating over the actual overall of a player in most cases. |
