Because this came up in a thread earlier today, can someone please clarify how the waiver process works draft eligible prospects that were not drafted in the VHL

There is a section regarding this in the new rules announcement that is stickied.

Is there a waiver rule for this? Thought it was always first come first serve for claiming them.

It's a new rule where, for one week from the end of the entry draft, we use the waiver priority on prospects from the NHL draft.
It lets the teams lower in the standings get the first crack at prospects that were not drafted in the VHL draft.

So you're saying there's a chance I can claim a guy to the Projects?
