Expansion Franchise

The vhl is indeed expanding.

This has been discussed thoroughly on the staff board for two years now.

Quite simply the first gm that asked for that franchise is the one being awarded Las Vegas.

Congratulations to our Las Vegas Gm Andre Deblois!

With that said to ensure he doesn't do anything with the Washington franchise to help his expansion, Andre is relinquishing his team effective immediately.

Justin from our waiting list will take over the Caps and Andre will now spend this season as an impartial staff member which will be a huge asset to have for our league this season.

Details on the expansion draft will take place at a later date.

I am looking forward to taking on this challenge... it should be alot of fun.

It's a shame to lose the good core I have assembled in Washington, but the challenge of running an expansion team was too much to pass on.
