I understand that but the rules also say that I can protect one goalie (price) and ullmark is not eligible so that eliminates both of my goalies. But on the other hand the rules also say that I have to expose one G. That forces me to either get a G that I don´t need or expose Price which is plain stupid. It isn't stupid, the entire point of the draft is to force people to expose players. Just because you don't have a normal amount of goaltenders signed already doesn't mean it is stupid.

But that is the fundamental reason of an expansion draft. It is to force people to expose players and if they don't want to expose a certain player they then need to find a way around it. I guess we will need to agree to disagree.

If there were no restrictions/requirements on teams needing to expose players, then the expansion team wouldn't have a good enough pool to pick from, especially goaltenders. If teams were not required to expose goalies, then what if only 10 teams exposed goalies and none were remotely viable as a NHL goalie?

i agree with that but what purpose does it help if I sign/trade for a garbage backup/minor league G just for the purpose of exposing him in the draft?! who is going to select that kind of garbage? i can agree on the fact that we disagree!
