You need to have enough cap space prior to signing a player!!

Well, I mean technically we do. Teams can't go over 10% of the salary cap in the off-season. But I see your point.

We do have that rule with a 10% grace in offseason. Not sure who's over?

NHL can go over and then have a few months to sort their roster/cap. I don't know why we'd be any different.

Dont see anyone over. weve always had said rule. Over at all or over the 10% ? the 10% rule being considered. weve always had the cant go over cap before signing someone rule. We also said in our rules that if you go over said 10% after signing a player that you wouldn't be able to sign any other player until you get under cap. Buffalo was neither over said 10% or even over the normal cap. even when we didnt have the 10% rule, if someone went over cap we wouldnt let them sign any other players.

The 10% rule should be the same as the NHL, you cannot go past it but you are allowed up to it. I have seen some people bidding where if they got the guy they would be past the 10% but not too many. Won't name anyone but they probably know they did it.
