NYR should be raking in the picks and spects right now to take on salary. Time to use your best asset, cap space vs desperate teams. Or you know he should be desperate to add so that he doesn't get docked picks for being under salary. Goes both ways. |

He can easily sign some nobody free agent rated terribly to a 1 year $2 mill contract no prob. This is opportunity to strike a deal to relieve others. Zoran - Carey Price remains suspended Chicago Blackhawks - P.K. Subban remains suspended All other teams have fixed their issues. Colorado and Arizona must take action to get under cap or further disciplinary actions will take place.

Subban remains suspended / 2,800,000 over cap The Zoran have now lost the rights to currently owned pick (2017 NYR 3rd Rnd) and will be forfeited. The Chicago Blackhawks have now lost the rights to currently owned pick (2017 ARI 3rd Rnd) and will be forfeited. These picks will now be skipped at the 2017 NHL Entry Draft. Failure to comply to the 71,400,000 cap by next Monday will result in the loss of a 2nd round draft pick.

All teams except the Arizona Coyotes are now cap compliant.
The VHL and Matthew Sullivan of the Arizona Coyotes have mutually agree'd to quit the league. After speaking with Matthew, he felt it was in his best interest to announce his resignation from the league due to time constraints.
The Coyotes will not be further punished. Once we find a new GM for the Coyotes, that GM will have 1 week to get under cap.

After speaking with Scott, Arizona's lost picks will be restored. |
