The first two Sundays of the season I have not simmed. I am unsure how many people are aware, but last season we never simmed Sundays, we treated Sundays as bit of a day off in the VHL.
But I wanted to ask the league if they would prefer there to be a sim on Sundays? It doesn't matter to me too much. I liked having a day off on Sunday for the sole purpose that it kind of extends our season. However, last season by skipping every Sunday, we didn't finish our regular season schedule until the NHL was already in the 3rd Round of the playoffs.
So it's up to the league if they would want me to sim on Sundays as well. By simming, it shortens our season, but it also creates a longer off-season, and we know how dead it got around here.
I am in a league where I sim on weekends as well, and it's a league with a portal, so it takes a lot longer to update than the VHL does. I sim that league every Saturday and Sunday, so I have to sit at my computer a lot longer on those days specifically. So having Sundays off here is kind of nice, but at the end of the day I don't really give a shit either way. Whatever makes the league the happiest.
