Because Shattenkirk was 141st in DFZO for all of defenseman and was 186th in OPP CF for all of defenseman. He only saw 23% of his zone starts in the defensive zone for the entire year

Shattenkirk is an offensive defenseman


Zadorov was 129th in DFZO for all off defenseman and was 47th best in OPP CF for all of defenseman while having 38.8% of his zone starts in the D Zone.

Give a statistical reason why you don't agree not just "i don't agree" 

That is when you end up with bullshit ratings that have no correlation to actual stats and you are rating a person based off the value of their name versus their actual play.

Im not arguing with him. Im just not a fan of advanced stats and metrica. I look at blocked shots hits and takeaways and i feel he ahoukd be nore than 82 regardless of defensive zone starts. Thats just me. But its all good. He provided a good explanation so its fine.
