For those who are unaware, there is a supplementary prospect draft that will take place after the expansion draft so Vegas can have a prospect pool and not start from zero. This is why we are asking teams to submit a list of 5 exposed prospects. Staff has discussed this in length and decided that Vegas will have first crack to draft on any unsigned prospects either from Europe NCAA etc that are not on any team and will be able to draft them during said draft. We feel that this is a fair call for all involved.

Only thing I'll add is the breakdown. Vegas will add 10 prospects from the prospects we all submit as exposed( no more than 1 per team,so each team will lose 1 or none) The remaining twn prospects will be made up of said signings via Europe or ncaa etc and the entry draft.
Vegas will not be aloud more than 20 prospects on their list.

Wait, if Vegas takes 10 off our exposed prospects (like originally planned) then takes another "twn" (ten?) prospects off prospects not owned that would be 20... But then he has at least 5 draft picks in 2017, wouldn't that put him at 25?

As for taking prospects that are unowned, it was my understanding that any of those prospects would count towards the 10 prospects of the supplemental prospect draft, not in addition to those 10. It should be: - 10 prospects from supplemental draft, whether exposed or unowned, - 5 prospects from Las Vegas draft picks, - X amount of prospects from compensatory draft picks from teams that are unable to meet exposure requirements (currently only 1 pick) That would put me at 16 prospects, well under the 20 limit.
