Tomorrow I will be simming the final day of pre-season, completing it on Tuesday, October 10th.
I will leave the pre-season pages up until Thursday, October 12th. I'll then transition the sim into the regular season and I will have the regular season schedule up on October 12th.
The regular season itself will not begin until Monday, October 16th. So teams will have 3-4 days to get into season mode, send in their lines, and fix their rosters where it's needed.

Regular season schedule is now up, and the salary cap is now in effect. There ARE teams who are currently over the cap. I will not be babysitting teams this year to get under the salary cap before the season starts on October 16th. I received error messages that the following teams are currently over the cap, the teams are, Buffalo SabresCalgary Flames@detroid Where Did Max Go?Corey ScottMontreal CanadiensSan Jose SharksSt. Louis BluesVancouver CanucksAnaheim DucksAndre DebloisNow some of you are only over the cap by a tiny bit, and a simple sending in lines might remedy the situation, other teams are over the cap by more and may need to make some trades/waivers/buyouts, etc. Please get under the cap by October 16th, or you will be penalized and draft picks will be docked from your team. Also, please make sure you have enough players per position. When teams don't it stalls simming and makes it frustrating for me sometimes to have to manually fix teams. There are a couple teams that neglect their rosters in terms of having enough players per position. Thanks again everyone, it was a fun and hectic off-season capped off with a month of downtime. But the 2017-2018 season is now upon us! Good luck! |

would it be possible to have logan couture back in my line-up from his 1 game suspension back in game 4 of the pre-season. please for the second time i ask!!! i would like to get my lines set but i would like to be able to use him, wolf.

Teams that exceed the maximum allowed on a pro roster and need to fix it, Randy ZamariaBryan HullNashville PredatorsThis means you have more than 23 players on your team and the auto roster function cannot fix the issue as there are too many players who make more than 1,000,000 or require waivers. |

A 3rd round pick will be docked from any team still over the cap by 8PM Eastern time tomorrow when I sim.

I sim at 8pm eastern time today and though a few teams have corrected their rosters, there are still multiple teams over the salary cap and/or over the max players allowed limit.
