• Town hall meetings where owner said Alfredsson wanted to leave
• Clarke MacArthur forced to retire from concussions
• Baby onesies outfit is recalled due to ‘choking hazard’

Just a rough year to be a Sens fan, this latest thing though...gotta think Hoffman is being shipped out for sure, probably Karlsson too.

As someone who works in the sales and service industry in this field (sports), this would be a fucking nightmare and people would have been fired a longggggggggggggg time ago, and by people, I mean the sales, marketing, etc folks.

It's worse because it's a player spouse. If it was a player that was found guilty of doing something this nasty, the team could just void the contract and be done with the whole ordeal. Can you imagine if the Senators tried to void the contract how furiously the PA and their lawyers would protest?

As a Leafs fan, most of this was very entertaining for me, always nice to see Sens fans suffer. But the thing between the Karlsson's and Hoffman's fiance is fucked up and an example of humanity at its absolute worst. They don't just go handing out restraining order, so there is definitely sore sort of truth behind those allegations. Not much light at the end of the tunnel for Sens fans these days

As a Canucks fan living in Ottawa, I got a great deal of joy listening to everyone hop on the bandwagon at the beginning of the season thinking they were going back to the conference final only to see not just the wheels fall off of the wagon, but it get blown to fucking smithereens and the Sens finish worse than the Canucks who were a boardline AHL team.  |

I love the irony of Matt Duchene wanting to be traded for what seemed to be an eternity, getting his wish and is now amidst probably one of the worst dumpster fires in all of professional sports.
It all starts at the top over there. Sure, Eugene saved the team back in the day... but he's a shit owner now who hopefully sells soon, because he clearly hasn't put the team in a position to succeed over there.

Boedker, Bergman and a 6th for Hoffman and a 5th....Welcome to San Jose Hoffman! As a Sharks fan I'm ecstatic with this trade, wanted Boedker gone and Bergman wasn't cracking the roster anytime soon. Hopefully he doesn't bring that crazy bitch with him lol.
