i see i have to defend this trade well here goes bryzgalov might alweays be a career back-up decent numbers but this year started strong but when he had the chance didn't run with the oppurtunity and the first of detroit's well that will likely be quite a ways down. now abby could still be the number one in montreal and his numbers are better this year a 79 also his nhl numbers are consistent with his career numbers. 4.5 million is ridiculous i realize that but in the realm of quality starters he is probably a little above average. i know i am taking a chance with him here but again if he dosen't do the job his contract will drop in half and of course i have emery for next year who will be my everyday starter with abby getting the odd start. also maybe abby can give me the push i need for the playoffs. anyway aside from that contract i believe based on numbers that abby is going to be now and in the future the better goaltender, again whatever the committee decides i can live with that bottom line i like abby more than bryzgalov aside from the 4.5 million contract i believe it's even. that's my feelings the committee can decide the outcome. thanks bryan
