Matt, Robbie is getting robbed here, the trade is brutal, Kopitar is going to score more points then Havlat this season, and they are both on crappy teams, Kessel is overkill. You can't even say that this trade helps Robbie make a playoff push, cause he is way out of the picture for that. The deal stinks.

pretty controversal trade..i'd say let the commitee look at it as it does seem a bit one sided...havlat is great and all but Kessel and Kopitar are going to be stars in this league as well

you can't flag everything. What happened to GM leeway? His other two controvesial trades were passed, now when Detroit is on the other end, we have a big uproar? let it go.

Um, there was a few GMs who questioned it on the first page as well, and this trumps contreversial, this is more insane Kopitar and Kessel are two first line players for one first line player, it is like me trading Jagr and Sundin to Scott for Alfreddson, it is just too dumb.

The deal makes no real sense it is like trading two first round draft picks that are 1st and 2nd overall picks for a 3rd overall pick.
