this trade should happen woithout the 50,000 pay ccut, new york just wants to put him in the minors if he can, anson is rated 75 and shold be up on the main roster, you trade for anson you should pay his full salary, the salary trade is meant for big time contracts.

There was no rule until now saying that it can't be done that way, I didn't feel comfortable giving Carter a full million, plus I am pretty close to cap, so I was just trying to give myself some breathing room that if need-be Carter could play in the minors so that a cheaper player, Marcel Hossa for example, could play if I needed him to, the idea was not at all to chop a little salary off just so Carter could play in the minors.

I don't know, if I need the cap relief after trades or something I would hope so. Plus I don't see what the fuss is, all I did was use a rule that was in place to the best advantage that I could, both of us agreed to the trade, nobody is getting ripped off, I call that being a smart GM, something I thought that we wanted, not cheating, which is what I feel like I am being accused of here.
