 Confirm. We felt we needed to make a splash after falling one game short of the Stanley Cup. I was glad to see this opportunity come up as we missed out on Panarin, and am glad we started talks with Florida Panthers , where our thread went on for six, thorough pages of neogotiations. While we love Vrana and these prospects, we felt the need to jump on a 23 year old Patrick Laine. It's not every day you get a pure goal scorer who has plenty left in the tank, and to add him with Pettersson, Marner, Boesser, Benn, and Bertuzzi, it was hard to pass up. Thankfully we can afford him this year and beyond, and this will only solidify our top 6 for years to come. Great talks Florida Panthers , and best of luck in the draft and season! |
