2022 VHL Entry Draft

Welcome to the 2022 VHL Draft! The VHL Draft will officially begin Friday, July 15th!

Teams will have 8 hours to make their selection while they are on the clock in the first round. If you miss your pick, you will be auto'd the 'best player available' in order of the NHL Entry Draft

For the second round, teams will be given 6 hours to make their selections. If they miss, your pick will get bumped to the end of the 2nd round, and you will be unable to make your selection until it gets to the end of that round.

For the third round, teams will be given 4 hours to make their selections. If they miss, their pick will be forfeited completely.

The clock runs from 8am eastern time to 10pm eastern time. 

The Los Angeles Kings won the rights to the 1st overall selection via the draft lottery, and the Nashville Predators won the rights to the 2nd overall selection via the draft lottery. The order, however, will revert back to its original order for the following two rounds.

The Los Angeles Kings hold the 1st overall selection. They'll be on the clock starting on July 15th at 8am eastern time. Good luck everyone!

It's regarding the draft order concerning a block of 4 picks 23-26.

Originally I had it as follows

#23 PHI via ANA
#24 PIT
#25 LA via NJ
#26 VAN via WPG

The sequence is actually suppose to go PIT, WPG, NJ, ANA. Anaheim finished ahead of those teams in points, then NJ, then WPG, then PIT. So the order should be as follows:

#23 PIT
#24 VAN via WPG
#25 LA via NJ
#26 PHI via ANA

It is a bit awkward that I am directly involved here, I guess that's what I get for making the draft board manually on the forum and not waiting for the sim file to populate the draft board, which I discovered when I clicked the 'Entry Draft' tab on the left, so I just wanted to get this corrected. I have also fixed it for rounds 2 and 3.
