Congratulations Dallas. Great season. Made some nice moves to get to the top of the mountain
I’d say it was a good year in CBJ country, but this crushing. Don’t think big changes are coming, going to roll with most of this team in tact, except a few UFAs.
I’m proud to win the East, but that does not get your logo on the website.
Coming back strong next year.

 Wow!!! I'm sincerely proud to be champion for season 2021-22 of this fantastic league. Never thought it would happen. It is an absolute privilege to be part of VHL family and compete with best-of-the-best. I encountered some great teams in playoffs: Minnesota, Winnipeg, Seattle and Columbus. Series were full of tight games. In some of the games I was lucky, have to admit it. Overall huge thanks to everyone here. And special thanks to Scott, Wolf and Lundek!!! Now to celebrate I will have a nice Partagas serie D4 cigar and glass (big one) of malt whisky. Congratulations to Jussi and the Jussi Kalmi! Incredible rise to the top in your tenure here in the VHL so far, you identified all of the areas of weakness on your team and brought in the right pieces to propel your Stars to a cup win! My heart breaks for Trent and the Columbus Blue Jackets ... your devotion to the league, and the amount of effort and hard work you've poured into that Blue Jackets team is incredible. Your roster is just absolutely insane, and there's no doubt about it, you'll be right back in the final next season and are the most deserving GM in this league who's yet to win. Your time will come and I will be cheering for you (when you're not playing me of course). Congrats to Trent on a great run, it was really hard even as a neutral observer to accept that you lost. I was really pulling for your success. Congrats to Jussi once again, after 3 years we have a new VHL champion. Definitely going to cost us some additional shipping fees sending you championship swagger to Finland but we'll see what we can do!  |

Monster season for Dallas! Only appropriate it ends with a Cup.
Columbus takes a tough series loss but the Jackets are a big ol’ UNIT of a team. Already my front runner for 2023 champs.
