2023 VHL Entry Draft

[Philadelphia Flyers]

The 2023 VHL Entry Draft will begin on Monday, July 3rd @ 12PM Eastern Time

Teams will have 8 hours to make their selection while they are on the clock in the first round. If you miss your pick, you will be auto'd the 'best player available' in order of the NHL Entry Draft

For the second round, teams will be given 6 hours to make their selections. If they miss, your pick will get bumped to the end of the 2nd round, and you will be unable to make your selection until it gets to the end of that round.

For the third round, teams will be given 4 hours to make their selections. If they miss, their pick will be forfeited completely.

The clock runs from 8am eastern time to 10pm eastern time.

UPDATE: I fucked up again

Well, I am not sure I did, I mirrored this draft board with the entry draft order that the simulator outputted. But it was brought to my attention that Pittsburgh and New York (Rangers) were slotted in the wrong spots in the order.

Originally the draft order was this:




However, if you go to last seasons standings by clicking HERE and sort by points, New York finished the highest in points outside of the final 4 playoff teams, Pittsburgh also finished ahead of Seattle and Winnipeg, therefore should not have been picking 24th overall and instead are now at their rightful position of 26th.

I have fixed the order in all 3 rounds, picks directly affected are picks between 24-28 (Round 1), 56-60 (Round 2), 88-92 (Round 3).

So basically, the Rangers pick got bumped down 3 spots behind of Seattle, Winnipeg and Tampa, and the Penguins pick got bumped down 2 spots behind Seattle and Winnipeg.
