I booked my ticket to the Cup Finals with time to spare to let my guys heal up. Good series Dallas, every game was close except for this last one.

Wow. Kudos to Detroit. Regardless of how close the games are, 4-1 is a convincing series win.

Now Montreal needs to hold up their end of the bargain for a #7 on #7 Cup Final.

If there is anybody I would allow to have a negative view towards my skills as a GM in this league it would be you Randy, you inherited the team that I started my vision with, however, did not finish nor do justice to in my last months there. You had to take the team that I knew where I wanted to put it, and try to see what I had in mind to create your own team, and I think you did a great job.

I'm hoping to finally give an Original Six team a cup in this league, and win my first as a GM in a sim league. Should be a fun ride. Just to make it this far after what I came to the league with on this team is amazing as far as I'm concerned. I had to make some tough decisions (trading Dustin Byfuglien AND Joe Thornton) but if I win the cup, it will all have been worth it.
