The NHL released their Reverse Retro Jersey collection this week. Since their isn't much hockey news to talk about, I thought it would be fun to have a good ol' jersey debate. What are your favs, which do you hate, and do you have any hot-takes on any of the designs

BEST:
1. LA Kings:
- In my opinion, these are easily the best of the bunch and may actually be the best Kings jersey ever. The Purple and Gold is awesome. These should just become their full time jersey
2. Montreal Canadiens:
- keep it simple, stupid. The Habs stick with their traditional design with a small colour twist, and it works
3. Calgary Flames
- Always loved the Flames bronco jersey. I also learned today that the horse has a name. Welcome back Blasty!
4. Minnesota Wild
- Love the throw back to the North Stars with the colour scheme, and I actually think their otherwise terrible logo looks much better in green and yellow
5. Washington Capitals
- brought back the screaming eagle with current colour scheme. Logo see a bit large, but otherwise sharp jersey
WORST
1. Islanders / Oilers
- are these not just their regular jerseys? lets see some creativity
2. Detroit Red Wings
- so they're basically wearing a practice jersey?
3. Anaheim Ducks
- I like the creativity of going with Wild Wing, but the design looks a kindergartener forgot to finish colouring his drawing. Also, why not just use the Mighty Ducks logo, which is one of the greatest logos in sports
4. Toronto Maple Leafs
- Jersey layout is fine, but my god the massive Leaf in the middle + the stupid font ruins it
5. Vancouver Canucks
- The orca has always suscks, and the weird "blue fading to green" is almost as bad as the original this jersey is based on
HOT TAKE:
You'll likely notice their are two glaring omissions that will probably make most of your "best" lists. I realize I am in the minority on this, but Colorado's Nordiques and Carolina's Whalers jerseys are lazy, uncreative concepts that are average at best. These have been done, and re-done over and over again. If you had to use these two logos, at least give it some type of new twist...
