Just a suggestion, but we should probably suspend all of the cap hits on every team. I bring this up as I have noticed that cap hits are getting used by teams in games played.
First one I noticed (prob as I have his 1st) is that New Jersey has used his goaltending cap hit twice in game now this season.
Philly has had a salary held suit up for every game this year so far.
Teams with salary cap held that are not suspended (only a quick check might have missed others):
- New Jersey - NYI - Philly - Phoenix - Tampa bay - Winnipeg - LA
Could be a big deal for teams if the only reason they can actually be under the cap currently is because they are able to suit up a cap hit instead of needing to actually have 20 players play. I did not check if this would be the case for anyone here though, but it might be.

Its more lines arent getting done which is why cap hits happen to be autoed in. Though the question is do suspended players count against the cap

I think there is a way to make suspended players (cap hits) count against the cap. I'll test it out.

Cap hits in past years were always suspended, hence why mine is currently suspended and so are San Jose's.
There is a setting, I can find it pretty fast later tonight when I go onto my sim. Its somewhere under the 3 league options tabs you can go through.
*I can find it if needed that is.

Suspended do count against cap. The ones that arent prob expired as were prob from last year. I suspend them all for 99 games as its max so I prob missed some expiring this year

I've suspended all cap hits so they cannot be moved from being a Pro Scratch.
One issue though, apparently all season suspended players and cap hits weren't even counting against the cap. Now they are. For example, SJ has 19 million in cap hits and it is now counting against his salary cap.

It was on last year. Maybe with upgrade to version two I forgot or with the early season cap fiasco maybe I turned off

I also noticed the cap was set at $64.9M instead of $64.3M.
