Welcome to the 2018 VHL Entry Draft! As previously announced, the VHL Entry Draft will officially begin, as in the clock starting for teams to select on Friday, July 6th! Teams will have 12 hours to make their selection while they are on the clock in the first round. If you miss your pick, you will be auto'd the best player available in order of the NHL Entry Draft. For the second round, teams will be given 8 hours to make their selections. If they miss, your pick will get bumped to the end of the 2nd round, and you will be unable to make your selection until it gets to the end of that round. For the third round, teams will be given 4 hours to make their selections. If they miss, your pick will be forfeited completely.
The clock runs from 8am eastern time to 10pm eastern time. The Calgary Flames hold the 1st overall selection. They'll be on the clock starting on July 6th at 12PM eastern time. This gives teams about a week to prepare and make the necessary deals they may want to make. Good luck everyone! |

I would like to thank the Dallas Stars for hosting the greatest VHL draft to have ever existed. Man what a show you guys put, by far the best of all time!
With that being said the Dallas Stars are extremely pleased to select... the hockey child prodigy out of the USHL.. Oliver Wahlstrom!

With the 6th pick in the draft the VHL Senators sincerely hope the NHL Oilers don't tank this kids development like they have with so many other 1st round picks, from the London Knights, the pride of Oakville Ontario, Evan Bouchard - D
