And that concludes round 1! We finished the 1st round in just four days, a record pace.

A quick recap:

- Dallas Stars draft pick Jesperi Kotkaniemi has set the VHL record for most spots fallen by a top-3 NHL draft pick. Prior to Kotkaniemi's freefall, top-3 NHL draft picks had only fallen a maximum of two spots in the corresponding VHL draft (Jonathan Huberdeau from 3rd to 5th, and Sam Reinhart from 2nd to 4th).

- Utah Hockey Club draft pick Akil Thomas was the biggest riser in the VHL's 1st round, rocketing from 51st overall in the NHL draft to 29th overall in the VHL.

- The Florida Panthers 'liked' 14 of 31 draft pick posts in the 1st round, a like percentage of 45%. The Panthers are well on pace to rival the all-time like percentage of 100%, set by my grandma on Facebook.

We're now onto round 2. Teams will now have 8 hours to make their selections. If a pick is missed, it will move to the very end of the round and GMs will not be able to make those picks until then.

Calgary will kick off the 2nd round with pick #32.
