You made a deadline. Posted it. I planned on sending in a list this morning, well within the rules, and be done with it. Pretty bullshit if you ask me.

This is completely my error, and I do apologize for it. I simply forgot whether I had set the deadline for midnight on Sunday or noon on Monday and didn't bother to check. I had a lull at work this morning and wanted to take advantage of it to get the results out as soon as possible.
I will be more careful about respecting the deadlines that are posted in the future.

Isn't Nando Eggenberger ineligible to be drafted? He wasn't drafted in the 2018 NHL draft or signed by an NHL team.

Yep, I think your right Willsy, even though he was a top 120 rated prospect every team passed over him, therefore nullifying his eligibility for our waiver draft as he'll be re-entering next year.

Washington actually drafted Filip Kral, so that pick is invalid. This is indeed true. Nashville's selection of Kral in the waiver draft has been invalidated.

Isn't Nando Eggenberger ineligible to be drafted? He wasn't drafted in the 2018 NHL draft or signed by an NHL team. The staff are currently looking into the case of Nando Eggenberger. There is NHL precedent for an 18 yeard old who went undrafted in his first year of eligibility being signed by an NHL team - Martin Jones was signed by the Kings out of the WHL in 2008. Then, there is alos the precedent of a 19 year old being drafted in their second year of eligibility after having been undrafted in their first, like Tanner Pearson.

I believe Matthew Struthers fits this bill as well. I think they are aloud to sign them during a certain period of time, I could be wrong though. "No player may be claimed as a prospect until the player has been either: (1) drafted by a NHL team; (2) signed by a NHL team; (3) or has reached the age of twenty-one (21) which is the moment they are no longer draft eligible." From the VHL rules.

The waiver draft results have been entered into the sim, except for the curious case of Nando Eggenberger, whom we are still discussing whether or not Nashville is eligible to claim him in the staff board.

Whats so curious about it? He has no NHL affiliation therefore he cannot be picked until he does. It is pretty black and white if you ask me. If he wanted him that badly he could have used a draft pick to grab him.
