how is it a bad trade?

Aucoin had 6 points giving him his 78 average, and last year he had 16 which would bring his average up to 80 this year, making it equal to koivu. To fill Koivu's spot, he asked for a guy who had an average overall of 75-76 just to plug that spot in. I offered two players, 72 and 73 overalls, as opposed to one guy whos overall is 75-76, to add depth to his roster, to which he agreed. He said himself, he needed another D man to play because Stuart can't carry his defence on his own, so I gave him my 2nd best D man as well as two defensive forwards. I think its a very fair deal.

im pretty sure they do it by two years which means he had a 44 point season and a 6 point season where he played like 30 games...then he had a 16 point season where he was a -22 and isnt even a top 3 dman on the hawks. im a hawks fan and i wish they would just buy him out cause hes washed up and isnt worth a quarter of the money he is making.

i dunno if its by 2 years, but i based it on the 06-07 season and the 05-06 season.

my brother also agreed to it as he needed an extra d-man for this year, and because auccoin for koivu straight up is bad, i let him pick who else he wanted (within reason)
