2020 VHL Awards

Upon the conclusion of the 2020 VHL Stanley Cup Playoffs, we will be revealing the winners of the 2020 VHL Awards. Voting for regular season awards will begin now, at the conclusion of the 2nd Round of Playoffs, and will close at the conclusion of the 3rd Round. In addition to seven awards voted on by the league, we are also announcing the much-anticipated return of the VHL Commissioner Awards, which will be awarded by none other than Scott Davidson. There will also be awards given to four players and one team based on regular season results, as well as three teams and one player based on playoff results. A summary of awards and nominees are listed below:

Presidents' Trophy - Awarded to the club finishing the regular season with the best overall record

Edmonton Oilers - Louis-Philip Lafrance

Art Ross Trophy - Awarded to the player who leads the league in total points at the end of the regular season

Maurice "Rocket" Richard Trophy - Awarded to the top goal scorer in the regular season

Vladimir Tarasenko - @mbollentin

William M. Jennings Trophy - Awarded to the goaltender(s) having played a minimum of 25 games for the team with the fewest goals scored against it in the regular season.

Calder Memorial Trophy - Awarded to the league's most outstanding rookie player
