The Virtual Hockey League is very proud to announce our first ever Seattle Kraken GM!

After the two-week long application process, it has been voted amongst VHL Staff that our first ever inaugural GM of our newest franchise is no other than Los Angeles Kings former GM, Tom Jervis!

We are excited with this decision, and have the confidence that Tom is the right fit to bring our newest franchise to life. Tom came into this league and overhauled a very awful Kings franchise and has turned that team into a perennial contender. Tom has been a long life friend to myself, Scott, and many other GMs whom we've all known now and started these leagues with over 15 years ago. Tom has shown nothing but commitment over the years and has been a pillar not only in the VHL, but the sole reason the PHL still exists to this day.

Thank you to the staff for having faith in me and giving me this opportunity. I know these chances to build an expansion team are rare, so I am grateful they are entrusting me with Seattle. Really excited to build this franchise from the ground up. Everyone knows, I love to trade. So feel free to reach out if you want to make deals regarding any players for the expansion draft.

Whoever takes control of LA, please contact me, I'd like to give some thoughts on how I built the team and what my plans were going to be before I left. It took me a long time to get that team where it is today, and I'm proud of what I was able to accomplish, even if we came up a bit short in the playoffs.

Again, I am extremely grateful for the chance and look forward to next year!

I missed it. Initially didn’t see Tom putting in for it seeing how far he had come with LA, but the more I look into it, this move totally makes sense for him. Very rare opportunity. I won’t say who I predicted based on the fact I’m not sure if he put in or not.
