If you choose to use the 8 Skater and 1 Goaltender protection route, please adjust your list accordingly.
IMPORTANT TO REMEMBER
EXPSOSURE REQUIREMENTS
Teams must expose at least one goaltender, one defensemen and two forwards who meet the following criteria:
a. Under contract for the 2021-22 season; and
b. Has played either 27* games in the 2020-21 NHL season or has played a combined 54* NHL games between 2019-2021 (skaters only, does not apply to goaltenders). *Game totals reduced to reflect shortened NHL season due to Covid-19
c. Goaltenders must either be RFA or under contract for next season, that's the only criteria for goaltenders
PROSPECTS
Teams must expose 5 prospects for the Seattle prospect draft so that Seattle can populate their prospect list. Seattle will not select more than 10 prospects. Teams will not be allowed to lose more than 1 prospect per team.
EXEMPTIONS
All players who were created in the 2020 Offseason, and therefore have 3 years currently remaining on their ELC, will be exempt. All players who were created prior to the 2020 Offseason, who CURRENTLY have either 1 or 2 years remaining on their ELC entering the 2020-21 season, will need to be protected. So for example, Jack Hughes is exempt as he currently shows 3 years remaining on his ELC (Created in 2020). Rasmus Dahlin is NOT exempt as he currently shows 2 years remaining on his ELC (Created in 2019).

Failure to submit your protected list by the start of the expansion draft OR meet expansion exposure requirements will result in the penalty of your nearest 1st round pick, which will be transferred to Seattle. If you own multiple 1st round selections in the 2021 season, Seattle can select one of their choosing.
Please submit your lists in this thread, and they'll be added to the official protections list thread by a staff member. All lists will be audited for validility before being posted to the official expansion draft list. Thank you!
