The search for a golatender is complete with the addition of Martin Biron from Boston in exchange for stud prospect Anze Kopitar.
" We needed to upgrade our goaltending and we feel Biron fits that need. We have enough youth on offence to spare, so Kopitar was perfect trade bait" said gm Greg Dufour
When asked for comment Biron responded "I'm very excited to be a part of the Kings organization. They are moving in the right direction and I'm glad to be a part of it."
Kopitar could not be reached for comment because we have no Slovenian reporters.

T.J. McCarthy had this to say: "We had ben trying to pry Kopitar from LA for a long time, we have been impressed with what we have seen from him and we feel he will be a big part of this franchise. Biron was expendable since we already have to stud goaltenders who are both still in their 20's and are locked up long term."
Kopitar will highlight an impressive prospect pool that already boasts players like Phil Kessel, Marek Zagrapan, Matt Lashoff, and Aki Berg.
