If the argument is team building, I’m pretty sure Gustafson is better than last year. Gustafsson was an error and is now an 80 overall so we should be set! O Kyle, maybe you’ll understand what he was trying to say one day... he’s saying that if his point was teams are building , then Gustaffsson fits the building aspect since he’s a 80 overall lol |

Quite alright, the point was the old system was fine GM's are building teams based on a ratings system that has now changed How was the old system fine? I can tell you right now, I was not and have never built my team based on a rating system. That's just fucking stupid. You build your team based on how players perform in the NHL. Just like how a sim league works. Oh wait... LMAO keyboard warrior is strong in this basement |

Anyways jusy my opinion but if you look at the rosters now it looks like a big pile of mediocrity. 4th liners and 30 goal scorers have very little between them overall and even in the other metrics everyone is much closer then before in my opinion.

Are you actually looking at the google doc? There is a much bigger gap between 4th liners and 30 goal scorers this year... Please provide an example. |

Not trying to be an asshole here but did you even read he post or anything ? Below is posted for forwards. Overall 2019 80-86 46 70-79 166 60-69 197 50-59 157 There are 212 forwards rated 70-86. There are 186 players that would play on the top 2 lines in the NHL if you do 6 times 31. That means there are an additional 26 players who would be in the top 6. You then have 197 players in the 60-69 range currently. That is the rest of your bottom 6 lines and then some. You have made zero arguments for any player at all and have failed to mention anything regarding categorical ratings. As mentioned LD EX and ST are all being redone so this will result in players overalls going up or down accordingly. LD and EX will primarily impact players below a 70 rating as that is where the base is going to be established. Once again it is an active working document hence “preview”. It’s skmply out right now so people can work trades based on what ratings are estimated to be fairly accurately. There are players who could have the wrong rating or even ratings applied to them as mentioned when translated back into the google doc. |
